Toddler Care in Tucson, AZ
Toddler care in Tucson, AZ for children from 1 to 3 years old at Angelita's Little Angels: the years of first words and first steps, in a small licensed group home with a fenced yard.
First words and first steps
From one to three, children change every week. Here they do it in a home, in a small group of up to 10 children where Angelita knows each one by name, by habit and by mood.
Sand, water, blocks and the yard every day
Sand, water, blocks and the yard every day. The fenced, covered yard has turf, a sandbox, bikes and a playhouse, so toddlers spend time outside and burn energy.
First words in English and Spanish
Children hear both languages all day. Toddlers pick up their first words in English and Spanish, and parents talk to Angelita in whichever is easier for them.
Potty training when you're ready
We work on potty training when you're ready at home, so your child gets the same message here and there.
Quiet naps
After lunch at the big table, toddlers nap in a quiet room.
Angelita's Little Angels is a Child Care Group Home licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, an approved provider for DES child care assistance and DCS placements, and open to families who pay on their own. Up to 10 children, ages 0 to 12, open 24 hours, in English and Spanish.
Toddler care questions
Do you help with potty training?
Yes. At Angelita's we work on potty training when you're ready at home, so your toddler hears the same thing here and with you. Tell Angelita how you're doing it and she'll follow the same steps during the day in our home in Tucson.
Do toddlers nap every day?
Yes. After lunch together at the big table, toddlers have a nap in a quiet room, away from the noise of the group. Older children who don't nap have quiet time instead, so the little ones can rest during the day in our Tucson home.
Will my toddler hear Spanish and English?
Yes. Children hear both languages all day at Angelita's, so toddlers pick up their first words in English and Spanish. Parents can talk to Angelita in whichever language is easier for them, by WhatsApp, by phone or in person at pickup.
