Home Preschool in Tucson, AZ
Home preschool in Tucson, AZ for children from 3 to 5 at Angelita's Little Angels: letters, numbers and songs on the learning rug, so kindergarten feels familiar when it comes.
Getting ready for kindergarten
Between three and five, children get ready for kindergarten. At Angelita's they do it through play, crafts and songs, in a small group where everyone knows them.
Letters, numbers, colors and shapes
Letters, numbers, colors and shapes come through crafts, songs and games, by age, so learning feels like part of the day and not like homework.
Crafts and songs on the learning rug
Learning time happens on the learning rug. Art happens on the floor on big sheets of paper, and now and then there's a costume day.
Learning in two languages
Letters, numbers and songs come in English and Spanish, so children grow up comfortable in both.
Angelita's Little Angels is a Child Care Group Home licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, an approved provider for DES child care assistance and DCS placements, and open to families who pay on their own. Up to 10 children, ages 0 to 12, open 24 hours, in English and Spanish.
Preschool questions
Do you teach in Spanish and English?
Yes. At Angelita's, letters, numbers and songs come in both English and Spanish, by age. Children hear both languages all day, so they grow comfortable in each one, and parents can talk to Angelita in whichever language is easier for them, in person or on WhatsApp.
Can my preschooler stay full day?
Angelita's is open 24 hours, so preschoolers can stay for the hours your family needs, with lunch together at the big table and quiet time after it. Tell us the days and hours you need on WhatsApp and we'll tell you right away if there's a spot.
